Josephine Daka and Zambia’s Carol Zulu Primary School

Today we are graced with the presence of Josephine Daka who serves as Africa Regional Director of Mothers Without Borders. Josephine is helping oversee ZuLoo’s new toilet-building and improvement project at the Carol ZuLu Primary School in rural Zambia 🇿🇲  which previously had only 7 working toilets (pit latrines) for over 800 students and teachers — a toilet-to-person ratio of only one toilet per 114 persons! 💩  ZuLoo is currently helping construct an additional 16 modern latrines to alleviate long lines, diminish health concerns, and provide added privacy for the school’s teaching staff, thus helping ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment at the school. 👦🏿👧🏿👦🏿👧🏿🌈
